Bollywood Braveheart: First Hero Reaches Pahalgam Despite Looming Peril

Veteran actor Atul Kulkarni has become the first Bollywood hero to visit Pahalgam in the immediate aftermath of the April 22 deadly terror attack, defying fear and sending out a powerful message of solidarity. With 90% of tourist bookings cancelled and the region reeling from the tragedy, Kulkarni traveled from Mumbai to Kashmir, chronicling his journey and the empty seats on his flight as a plea for unity and resilience. He posted poignant photos from Pahalgam, urging Indians not to abandon Kashmir and stating, "Kashmir humara hai, hum ayenge" (Kashmir is ours, we will come). His visit, documented on social media, featured interactions with locals holding placards condemning the violence and waving the national flag.
