It was a historic day for Indian sports as India's first-ever Mixed Disability cricket team was given a warm sendoff to Mumbai as they left for their maiden tour of England. The squad, which comprises players with various physical and intellectual disabilities, will compete in a bilateral series against England's mixed disability side, taking inclusivity in cricket to a whole new level.

•⁠  ⁠The 16-strong contingent includes male and female sportspersons with limb disability, hearing and visual impairment, and intellectual disability, a representative sample of India's talent pool.
 
•⁠  ⁠The five T20 matches and community outreach activities in London, Birmingham, and Manchester are supported by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
