The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 English board examination for the 2024-25 academic year on February 15, 2025. Students and teachers alike reported that the paper was well-balanced and relatively easy to attempt. Many questions were similar to those in the sample papers provided by CBSE, making the exam more manageable for well-prepared students.
The exam, which lasted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, covered three main sections: Reading Skills, Writing Skills and Grammar, and Literature. While some students found certain sections challenging, the overall consensus was that the paper was fair and aligned with the syllabus.
Mahima Dudeja, an English educator at JAIN International Residential School in Bengaluru, noted that the paper had lucid language, making it easier for students to understand and attempt the questions.
