Infrastructure major Ceigall India Ltd. has announced a significant expansion into renewable energy with a Letter of Award (LOA) worth ₹17 billion from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd. (RUMSL). The project involves setting up a 220 MW solar power plant integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Morena Solar Park, Madhya Pradesh.

The construction timeline is set at 24 months, followed by a 25-year operational period, making this one of the largest integrated solar + storage projects in India. The tariff-based project is expected to deliver power at ₹2.70 per kWh, ensuring cost-effective clean energy supply.
