The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a series of yellow and orange alerts for Chandigarh and surrounding regions, forecasting intense rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning through July 9. After recording its wettest June in a decade, the Tricity is now bracing for another disruptive monsoon spell.
