India’s vibe-coding startup Emergent has achieved an annual run-rate (ARR) of over $100 million within just eight months of launch. The platform, designed to help non-technical users build applications, has rapidly scaled to over 6 million users across 190 countries, with 150,000 paying customers.
Emergent, a fast-rising Indian startup in the “vibe coding” space, has announced that it crossed $100 million in ARR, doubling its revenue run-rate in the past month alone. Founded by Mukund Jha and Madhav Jha, the company enables anyone-even those without coding experience-to create monetizable applications through its intuitive platform.
The startup has already attracted more than 6 million users worldwide, with nearly 40 percent being small businesses. Remarkably, about 70 percent of its user base has no prior coding background, highlighting the platform’s accessibility. Users have collectively built over 7 million applications, underscoring the demand for simplified software creation tools.
Emergent’s rapid growth positions it alongside global competitors like Replit and Lovable, while its newly launched mobile app expands accessibility further. Industry analysts view this milestone as a sign of India’s growing influence in global tech innovation, particularly in democratizing software development.
