Empowering Bihar’s Youth: Narendra Modi Announces Monthly Support Scheme Worth Thousands

In a significant move to empower Bihar’s youth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a monthly financial aid of Rs 1,000 under the revamped Mukhyamantri Nishchay Svyam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana. This initiative targets 5 lakh graduates annually, aiming to provide economic support and skill training for two years.

 

Key Highlights Of The Announcement

 

The monthly allowance will support unemployed graduates, helping ease financial burdens during job searches and skill development.

 

Modi also relaunched the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, offering interest-free education loans up to Rs 4 lakh to enhance higher education accessibility.

 

Inauguration of Bihar Yuva Ayog, a statutory body aimed at channeling expertise and energy of youth aged 18-45.

 

Foundation stone laid for new academic infrastructure in four universities, including Patna University and Nalanda Open University, with a total investment of Rs 160 crore.

 

PM dedicated the Bihta campus of NIT Patna, featuring advanced research facilities and innovation hubs.

 

Over 4,000 government job appointment letters were distributed, alongside Rs 450 crore in scholarships for 25 lakh Class 9 and 10 students under Balak/Balika Scholarship Scheme.

 

This package of initiatives demonstrates a strong focus on education, employment, and skill enhancement, setting a foundation for Bihar’s youth empowerment and development.
