FanCode, India's premium sports streaming destination, has acquired exclusive rights to broadcast Formula 1 in India for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Breaking away from the tradition, FanCode will stream F1 races for the first time in regional languages, such as Hindi, with the objective of taking the sport to millions of fans across India. The agreement covers all practice sessions, qualifying rounds, sprint events, and Grand Prix races, among others.
With India's F1 following increasing at a rapid pace—now over 60 million—this move is looking to make the sport appeal to more beyond its conventional crowd. The followers can opt for buying single race passes or pay for a season pass to get the action across different devices. FanCode's novel strategy will change the F1 viewing dynamics in India with a localized and interactive experience.
