The state government and Google will formalize the agreement in a signing ceremony attended by top government officials, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Google Cloud executives such as CEO Thomas Kurian.
Named "AI City Vizag," the project integrates Google’s full AI stack with large-scale energy sources and enhanced fiber-optic networks. This initiative positions Andhra Pradesh as a global AI and cloud technology hub, poised to accelerate AI-driven innovation and digital transformation across India.
The investment is expected to generate approximately 1,88,220 jobs annually, with substantial contributions to the state's GDP and tech ecosystem.
