Railway Projects Worth Rs 1,400 Crore: Doubling of the 65-km Mahesana-Palanpur rail line (Rs 530 crore), gauge conversion of Kalol-Kadi-Katosan Road line, and Bechraji-Ranuj line (Rs 860 crore), improving connectivity for passengers and freight.

 

Flagging off passenger train between Katosan Road and Sabarmati enhances access to religious destinations and boosts local commerce.

 

Road Infrastructure Improvements: Inauguration of widening works on Viramgam-Khudad-Rampura road, foundation of six-lane vehicle underpasses on Ahmedabad-Mehsana-Palanpur road, and a railway overbridge on Ahmedabad-Viramgam road to ease congestion and promote economic growth.

 

Power Sector Boost: Launching power distribution projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore under Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited aimed at reducing outages, minimizing transmission loss, and modernizing networks.

 

Urban Development: Inauguration of in-situ slum rehabilitation at Ramapir No Tekro under PMAY (Urban), along with foundation stones for road widening on Sardar Patel Ring Road and enhancements in water supply and sewerage management.

 

Administrative Enhancements: New Stamps and Registration building in Ahmedabad West and a State-Level Data Storage Centre in Gandhinagar for strengthened digital governance.

 

Green Mobility Milestones: Launching local production of hybrid battery electrodes and flagging off Suzuki’s first global Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), “e VITARA,” from Hansalpur, Ahmedabad, to be exported to more than 100 countries.
