Healthy Investment: Narayana Health Picks Up Prime Bengaluru Real Estate

Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd, known as Narayana Health, has completed land deals totaling ₹2.46 billion in Bengaluru, a significant expansion move in one of India's most dynamic healthcare markets.
 
The transaction involves a ₹169 crore 1.2-acre land parcel in South Bengaluru's Begur Hobli, which is being bought from Venture Projects Bangalore Pvt Ltd. The transaction closed on March 1, 2024, according to documents procured by Propstack. The property is 52,272 sq ft in size and will be used to advance the company's long-term infrastructure and service delivery needs.
 
Founded by renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Devi Shetty, Narayana Health operates a chain of 18 hospitals and 3 heart centers in India and abroad. Bengaluru-based healthcare provider is renowned for its focus on value-for-money, quality of care and has been steadily expanding its presence in large urban centres.
 
This fresh investment comes after the company intended to spread operations in high-demanding regions and address the rising demand for high-tech healthcare facilities in south India.
