- Where to Apply  
  Candidates must register via the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) at jam2026.iitb.ac.in.

- Eligibility Criteria  
  Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet the minimum educational qualifications specified for their chosen program. There is no age limit.

- New Courses Introduced  
  IIT Kanpur has added three new offerings:  
  - Integrated Ph.D. in Sustainable Energy Engineering  
  - M.Sc. in Economics  
  - M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual degree programs

- Exam Date and Format  
  JAM 2026 will be held on February 15, 2026, in two sessions. The computer-based test will cover seven subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Economics.
