The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has entered into a strategic academic partnership with Empress Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University, Russia. The MoU was signed during a virtual ceremony attended by Prof. Vladimir Litvinenko, Rector of Saint Petersburg Mining University, and Prof. Suman Chakraborty, Director of IIT Kharagpur.
The collaboration aims to foster academic excellence and global partnerships through student and scholar exchange programmes, faculty exchange for joint research, and the development of joint academic initiatives.
