In Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district, Collector P. Ranjit Basha’s leadership has been pivotal in channeling CSR contributions from major corporates like Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, resulting in tangible improvements across education, healthcare, and social welfare.

Key Highlights:

Education and Child Welfare: Renovated Anganwadi centers in Budhawarpet and Indira Gandhi Nagar, funded by CSR, now offer safer and more stimulating environments for early childhood development. These efforts are part of a broader push to uplift underprivileged communities and enhance access to foundational education.

Healthcare Upgrades: CSR funds have enabled the installation of two new mineral water plants at the government general hospital, ensuring clean drinking water for patients and staff. The district administration has also prioritized rural healthcare, urging companies to focus on strengthening primary health services in villages.

Community Empowerment: Electric vehicles for garbage collection and skill development programs—such as sales and marketing training for over 7,650 individuals—demonstrate a holistic approach to social upliftment, supported by both the district administration and corporate partners.
