Middle East tensions spiked sharply today after Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz declared that the Israeli military has been instructed to "respond forcefully" to what he termed was Iran's breach of a just-finished ceasefire agreement. The declaration came following reports of missile fires from Iran heading for Israel, mere hours after a U.S.-mediated truce was announced.
