Air India will resume its curtailed international flight operations partially after flight AI171 crashed on June 12. To restore connectivity with the world, the airline will make a comeback, starting August 1, 2025.

Partial Flight Restoration Begins August: Air India will restore three weekly non-stop flights from Ahmedabad to London Heathrow from August 1 to September 30 as part of the restoration.

Over 525 Weekly International Flights: With this phased reopening, Air India's weekly international flight operations will be well over 525, a significant milestone as the airline is back on track after the recent setback.

Full Schedule Restoration by October: Air India is suggesting full restoration of its international flight schedule from October 1, 2025, with the assurance of improved options and frequencies for overseas tourists.

Cautious yet Optimistic Recovery: The phased recovery allows Air India to be in a position to sustain post-accident operating safety standards while responding to passenger demand on key international routes.
