Kia Motors has introduced the Carens Clavis, a premium variant of its top-seller Carens MPV, for Indian families seeking luxury and practicality in one. The Carens Clavis stands out with a new new exterior design language, triangular LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and networked LED rear lights. Inside, it also offers a completely modern cabin with twin 12.3-inch digital screens, a two-spoke steering column, cooled front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system.
The Clavis is available in three powertrains: 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel, both in manual and auto variants. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, like adaptive cruise control and panic brake. Prices will start from ₹10.99 lakh, with the official launch slated for late May 2025. The Carens Clavis will compete with the Maruti XL6, Ertiga, and Toyota Rumion.
