Virat Kohli produced a batting clinic in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, hitting an unbeaten 100 from 111 balls to take India home by six wickets against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium. It was his 51st ODI century and took him above Ricky Ponting into third place among the highest scorers in international cricket on 27,486 runs.
India chased down Pakistan’s target of 241 in just 42.3 overs, solidifying their top spot in Group A. Kohli also became the fastest to reach 14,000 ODI runs during his innings. Supported by Shreyas Iyer’s crucial 50, Kohli’s composed knock ensured no hiccups in the chase.
With this victory, India is still on top, and Pakistan is already struggling to remain in the semifinal race.
