Festival Context  
The Road Safety Film Festival is part of the state’s broader campaign to reduce accidents and fatalities. With road mishaps on the rise, the government is encouraging citizens to use creative storytelling to highlight the importance of responsible driving. The festival coincides with National Road Safety Month 2026, observed throughout January.  

Participation And Guidelines  
Participants can submit short films or videos in Hindi or English, focusing on themes such as safe driving, pedestrian awareness, or the dangers of speeding. The competition is open to all residents above 18 years of age, with detailed guidelines available on the Road Safety Cell’s official website.
