Lovable, the Stockholm-based AI darling behind the “vibe coding” revolution, is reportedly in advanced talks to raise $150 million at a near $2 billion valuation, just months after its $15 million pre-Series A round led by Creandum. The upcoming round is expected to be led by Accel, with participation from 20VC and existing backers.

Founded in 2023, Lovable has skyrocketed in popularity for its platform that builds full-stack web apps from simple text prompts—generating front-end interfaces (often in React), backend logic, and database connections via Supabase. The product launched in November 2024, and by May 2025, CEO Anton Osika revealed the company had hit $50 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within just six months.

Lovable’s pricing starts at $25/month for 250 credits, with users reporting complex apps built for under $300. This week, the company unveiled a beta AI agent that can autonomously edit code and debug projects, operating on a usage-based pricing model—a strategic move that aligns with rising infrastructure costs from providers like OpenAI and Anthropic.

The funding round, if closed, would mark one of Europe’s largest AI raises this year and solidify Lovable’s position alongside Replit and Bolt in the race to dominate low-code development. With ARR soaring and investor appetite peaking, Lovable is sprinting toward unicorn status—twice over.
