There will be a total lunar eclipse, also called the Blood Moon, on March 14, 2025. The phenomenon will not be observable in India but from North and South America, Western Europe, and Western Africa. The duration of the eclipse will be around 65 minutes, and the Moon will look reddish in color because of the shadow of Earth. Viewers in New York, Los Angeles, and Paris will have excellent observation opportunities. The eclipse overlaps Holi, adding a cultural flavour to this astrophysical spectacle.
