Manaksia Coated Metals Completes Alu-Zinc Upgrade Of Galvanizing Line

Manaksia Coated Metals & Industries Ltd, a leading manufacturer of coated steel products, has finalized a major technology upgrade of its Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL). The transition from conventional galvanized steel to Aluminium-Zinc coated steel marks a strategic shift toward higher-value products, aligning with global demand trends.  

The upgrade also includes a significant capacity expansion, with installed production rising from 132,000 metric tonnes per annum to 180,000 metric tonnes per annum. This 36 percent increase is expected to improve operational efficiency and broaden the company’s market reach. Production of Alu-Zinc coated steel is set to stabilize from January 2026, following a planned shutdown in December 2025.
