Marc Marquez Dominates Aragon Sprint, Outpaces Brother Alex for Seventh Win

Ducati’s Marc Marquez secured his seventh sprint victory of the season at the Aragon Grand Prix, overcoming a poor start to finish ahead of his brother Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer of Gresini Racing. The win extends Marc’s championship lead to 27 points, solidifying his dominance in the MotoGP season.
 
Despite breaking the lap record in qualifying, Marc struggled at the start due to wheelspin, briefly dropping to fourth after a shoulder-barge from Pedro Acosta. However, he quickly recovered, overtaking Alex on lap six to take the lead, thrilling the home crowd. Once ahead, Marc widened the gap, securing victory by more than two seconds.
 
Alex held onto second place, while Aldeguer overtook Franco Morbidelli in the final laps to claim third. Francesco Bagnaia, Marc’s teammate and two-time MotoGP champion, had a disappointing race, finishing 12th.
