 Venus Pipes & Tubes: Received a Rs 190 crore Letter of Intent from a leading Indian power equipment manufacturer for stainless steel seamless boiler tubes for Supercritical and Subcritical Thermal Power Projects.
 Lupin: Gained US FDA approval for its Raltegravir tablets USP, 600 mg, bioequivalent to Isentress HD by Merck. As the exclusive first-to-file, Lupin gets 180 days of generic exclusivity. The drug treats HIV-1 in combination with other antiretrovirals.
 Bharat Petroleum Corporation: Awarded contracts for 100 MW windfarm projects—50 MW each in Madhya Pradesh (to Suzlon Energy) and Maharashtra (to Integrum Energy). Completion expected within two years.
 Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services: Board approved a Rs 2,996.16 crore rights issue for 15.44 crore shares at Rs 194 per share; eligible shareholders get 1 rights share for every 8 held.
 Brigade Enterprises: Acquired 11-acre land in Whitefield, Bengaluru, to develop a premium commercial project with 1.5 million sq. ft. leasable area and a development value of over Rs 2,000 crore.
