Mumbai Gears Up for Coldplay: Traffic Advisory Issued for Concert Days!

The much-awaited Coldplay concerts at Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium, Nerul, on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025, have caused massive traffic congestion, especially along the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Sion-Panvel Highway. Vehicles were reportedly stuck for 8-10 km, with bottlenecks near Nerul Junction, Uran Road, and Palm Beach Road.

 

To ease movement, Navi Mumbai Traffic Police has imposed restrictions from 2 PM to 12 AM on concert days. Heavy vehicles are prohibited near the venue. Commuters traveling between Mumbai and Pune are advised to use alternative routes like Thane-Belapur Road and Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL).

 

Concertgoers should opt for public transport, as Nerul Railway Station (Harbour Line) is the nearest stop. Gates open at 3 PM, and attendees should arrive early to avoid delays.
