Meta has officially launched its much-anticipated Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses, targeting athletes and tech enthusiasts with a blend of bold style and cutting-edge AI features. This new collaboration aims to take wearable tech to the next level, building on Meta’s earlier success with Ray-Ban smart glasses.

Key Highlights:

Performance Meets Tech: The Oakley Meta HSTN glasses are designed for action, featuring a front-facing 3K camera for ultra-clear video, open-ear speakers, and built-in microphones. Users can capture hands-free footage, listen to music, take calls, and interact with Meta AI for real-time assistance—everything from checking the weather to posting on social media.

AI on the Go: With Meta AI integrated, users can ask questions, get activity updates, or record videos with simple voice commands like “Hey Meta, take a video.” The glasses also offer water resistance (IPX4), making them suitable for outdoor sports and daily wear.

Battery and Charging: The glasses boast up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge, with a quick 20-minute top-up providing 50% charge. The included charging case extends usage up to 48 hours.

Design and Options: Inspired by Oakley’s HSTN frame, the glasses come in six color and lens combinations, all prescription-compatible. The limited-edition gold-accented model is priced at $499, with the standard range starting at $399.

Availability: Preorders for the limited edition open July 11 in the US, Canada, UK, and several European countries. Meta plans to expand to India, Mexico, and the UAE later this year.

Meta and Oakley’s latest launch is set to redefine smart eyewear, combining performance, style, and AI-powered convenience for a new generation of users.
