Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has successfully acquired Chitradurga Bellary REZ Transmission Limited (CBRTL) for ₹19.71 crore, further strengthening its position in India's renewable energy transmission sector. This acquisition, completed on March 21, 2025, is part of PGCIL's ongoing efforts to expand its interstate transmission system (ISTS) projects.
