Prepping to Peak: Arshad Khan Says GT Gears Are Grinding for Playoffs

 

As the Gujarat Titans prepare for their pivotal IPL 2025 Eliminator against the Mumbai Indians on May 30, seamer Arshad Khan has reassured fans that the team is fully committed to their preparations. Reflecting on the Titans’ journey, Arshad acknowledged the recent challenges but highlighted a renewed determination: “We are making solid preparations for the playoffs. Our last game didn’t go as planned, but what truly matters now is winning and making it to the finals.”

 

GT wrapped up the league in third place after a series of strong performances, but two late losses kept them from securing a top-two finish. Still, Arshad is optimistic, referring to the additional playoff chance as “God’s plan” and emphasizing that every match is a chance to learn. “Every match teaches us something. Whether it’s an eliminator or a qualifier, the key is to win,” he stated.

 

The Titans have already triumphed over the Mumbai Indians twice this season, giving them a psychological advantage as they head into this crucial match. Arshad also mentioned that the team is concentrating on executing their game plan rather than getting caught up in the opponent’s reputation.
