“Pretty Woman” Preity Zinta Wows Fans with Throwback Cannes Look: “Fastest Shoot I Ever Did”

Bollywood star Preity Zinta thrilled fans with a glamorous flashback to her look at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Posting photos on Instagram, she looked back at a whirlwind shoot, terming it the "fastest shoot I ever did," thanking her brilliant team for making it happen. The 50-year-old actress was otherworldly in a pale pastel off-shoulder gown with fur trimmings, delicate silver sequins, and crystal work. The floor-sweeping dramatic hemline gave her look a regal flair.

 

Designed by Leepakshi Ellawadi, Preity wore accessories to a minimum, choosing dramatic drop earrings to allow the gown to take center stage. Her makeup, designed by Jay Kanojia, included smokey eyes, radiant highlighter, and shiny pink lips. Hairstylist Malinge Florian finished off the look with loose curls flowing down her shoulders.

 

This retro not only brought out Preity's ageless beauty but also her lasting association with Cannes. Having debuted at the festival in 2006, she came back in 2024 after a gap of 11 years. Aside from fashion, her appearance also celebrated Indian cinema's international presence as she honored cinematographer Santosh Sivan at the event. Her fans look forward to her return to acting with Lahore 1947, which will be her comeback after seven years.
