Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance from South Western Railway for a ₹156.36 crore Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract. The project involves designing, supplying, erecting, testing, and commissioning a 2X25 KV overhead electrification (OHE) and power supply installation (PSI) system between Rayadurga and Topavagada. Covering approximately 99.463 RKM/114.145 TKM, the contract includes electrical general services, engineering, and telecommunication works. With an 18-month completion timeline, this domestic project reinforces RVNL's position in railway infrastructure development. RVNL's shares closed at ₹337.40 on March 6, 2025, up 0.37% on the BSE.
