The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) paid heartfelt tribute to veteran RSS ideologue and party stalwart Bhagwat Swarup on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary, commemorating his lifelong dedication to nation-building and organizational excellence. The tribute event, held at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, saw the presence of top party leaders, senior RSS functionaries, and prominent social personalities.

Centenary Celebration: The event marked the 100th birth anniversary of Bhagwat Swarup, born on May 22, 1925, in Bhanga Khatkal Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab. A special Hawan was performed for the peace of his soul.
Rich Legacy: Swarup Ji’s journey began as a dedicated RSS pracharak in the late 1940s, later becoming the organizational secretary of Praja Parishad and Bharatiya Jana Sangh in Jammu & Kashmir. He played a pivotal role in the Praja Parishad movement and the growth of the Jana Sangh, which later evolved into the BJP.
Organizational Architect: Known for his simplicity, discipline, and tireless commitment, Swarup Ji was instrumental in reviving RSS and BJP activities in Kashmir and Ladakh, inspiring generations of swayamsevaks and leaders with his selfless service.
Tributes and Remembrance: BJP leaders including Sat Sharma, Ashok Koul, Jugal Kishore Sharma, and Dr. Nirmal Singh recalled his contributions and urged party members to emulate his values of dedication and humility.
