Indian-origin Ruby Dhalla has officially entered the race to lead Canada's Liberal Party, with aspirations to become the country's first woman of color Prime Minister. Born in Winnipeg to Punjabi immigrants, Dhalla's diverse background includes stints as a chiropractor and actress. She promises to tackle key issues like immigration reform, vowing to deport illegal migrants if elected. With a history as a three-time MP, Dhalla is determined to bring fresh energy to Canadian politics as she faces tough competition from notable figures like Mark Carney and Chrystia Freeland.
