Sembcorp Industries Ltd. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Green Infra, has been awarded a 150 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project by state-run SJVN Ltd. The project is part of SJVN’s 6,000 MWh tender aimed at delivering reliable peak power through renewable sources integrated with energy storage.
The project will be developed under a build-own-operate model and is expected to significantly enhance Sembcorp’s renewable footprint in India.
