Signal Boost! Vodafone Idea Rings in Free 24-Day Surprise for 2G Users

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced a new offer that will be music to its 2G feature phone users' ears: 24 free days of service validity in a year through the Vi Guarantee Programme. From July 1, 2025, users of unlimited voice packs priced at ₹199 and more will get two days of validity free with each recharge, up to 12 times in a year—eliminating the problem of recharging twice in a month as frequently 28-day packs get recharged.

Who's Eligible: 2G prepaid customers of 2G handsets, who use certain unlimited voice packs (₹199 and more).

 

How It Works: Each eligible recharge earns two extra days annually, which add up to 24 extra days.

 

Activation: The beneficiaries can activate the benefit via dialing *999# or on 1212.

 

Offer Period: Open on all telecom circles from July 1 to August 31, 2025.

 

Pack Details: Most sought-after tariffs such as ₹199 and ₹209 come with 30 days validity as opposed to 28 days previously, with free calls, data, and SMS.

 

Exclusivity: Redeemable once per IMEI and mobile number only; upgrading to 4G/5G voids entitlement.
