Smart Guides, Stronger Tourism: IIMs Roll Out Training At 20 Sites

Tourism Upskilling Push  
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled the pilot scheme to standardize guide training nationwide. The program will combine online modules with field-based learning, focusing on management skills, sustainability, safety, and local cultural insights. IIM Nagpur and other institutes will lead the rollout.
