Sonar Synergy: CFF Fluid Control Plunges Deeper into Naval Innovation

CFF Fluid Control Ltd has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE), a milestone development in the maritime defense revolution of India. The partnership focuses on the creation of next-generation subsea sonar systems, further establishing CFF as a leader in naval engineering.

Subsea Sonar Development
The MoU requires joint efforts towards the development and production of low-frequency variable depth sonar (LFVDS) systems for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) vessels.
- Such sonar platforms towed improve the underwater detection ranges that are vital for submarine surveillance in dense marine environments

- It is founded on successful deployments by Atlas Elektronic GmbH, with which CFF is currently partnered
- Local production will be ensured, enabling India's defense independence objective under Make in India program.

Portfolio Diversification
This association significantly enhances CFF's navy and marine solutions portfolio.
- It includes sonar acoustics and underwater surveillance within CFF's existing set of propulsion, fluid management, and combat systems

- The partnership with GRSE, a prominent defence shipyard, opens the door to integration across a variety of vessel classes
