Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, joined the 'Fit India Sundays on Cycle' event in Mumbai today. The cycling drive, themed 'Fight Obesity', took place from Gateway of India to Girgaon Chowpatty. This event is part of the ongoing nationwide initiative launched in December 2024 to promote cycling as a sustainable and healthy mode of transportation. The initiative, now called 'Sundays on Cycle', has been organized at over 3,500 locations across India, with participation from over 200,000 riders. Mandaviya continues to emphasize the benefits of cycling for personal health and environmental sustainability, urging citizens to incorporate cycling into their daily routines.
