Steel Strips Wheels Ltd Achieves Net Turnover of ₹424 Crore in April, Driven by Robust Growth Across Segments

Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has reported a net turnover of ₹424 crore (4.24 billion rupees) for April, marking a 6.6% year-on-year increase. The company's gross turnover for the month stood at ₹389.54 crore, reflecting steady momentum across its key business segments.
 
The two-wheeler and three-wheeler categories led the growth, registering a 29% rise by value compared to the previous year. The passenger car segment also performed strongly, posting a 12% increase, while the truck segment grew by 10%. The alloy wheels segment expanded by 5%, and the tractor segment saw a modest 1% uptick during the month. Exports contributed positively as well, rising 8% by value.
 
This performance follows a series of strong quarters for SSWL, underpinned by strategic expansion and new business wins, including a recent entry as a supplier of aluminium wheels to a major Indian passenger car manufacturer. The company’s diversified product range and its manufacturing footprint across multiple states continue to support its growth trajectory.
 
SSWL’s April results underscore its resilience and ability to capture opportunities in both domestic and international markets, positioning the company for further expansion in the automotive components sector.
