Info Edge (India) Ltd has initiated a strategic portfolio realignment by transferring its 26.14% stake in ShopKirana ETrading Pvt Ltd to its wholly owned subsidiary, Highorbit Edutech Pvt Ltd (HEPL). The move reflects Info Edge’s intent to consolidate its investments under focused verticals and streamline operational oversight.
 
Key highlights of the transaction:
  • The transferred stake is valued at USD 23.13 million, underscoring ShopKirana’s growth in the B2B ecommerce space
  • ShopKirana connects FMCG brands with small retailers across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, offering techenabled supply chain solutions
  • HEPL, which operates platforms like Naukri.com and Shiksha.com, will now manage the investment, aligning it with Info Edge’s broader digital ecosystem
  • The internal transfer is expected to enhance capital efficiency and improve governance across Info Edge’s investment portfolio
