Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) owned by former US President Donald Trump has launched its new international TV streaming service, Truth+, in a sweeping expansion of conservative media into international markets. The launch brings the Newsmax channel, a top-ranked US conservative news channel, into the international market.

Key Highlights

•  Truth+ can now be streamed on iOS and Android smartphones, the web, and connected TV platforms such as Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. Apps for LG and Samsung smart TVs are awaiting approval and will be available soon.

•  The site offers live streaming channels and on-demand video programming, and Newsmax is its global flagship channel. The partnership will broaden Newsmax's global audience and offer alternative perspectives on the news.

•  TMTG began beta testing the worldwide release of Truth+ later in June 2025, gathering feedback from users to ensure the launch goes smoothly. The company will announce the fulfillment of the rollout when all the devices are supported.

•  TMTG also owns Truth Social and will introduce Truth.Fi, a fintech and financial services company, in its overall attempt to upset established tech and media giants.

•  The launch is framed as a move to offer what TMTG calls non-woke, hard-hitting news and commentary, and this will break the stranglehold of main-stream media narratives globally.

Market Reaction and Future Strategy

•  TMTG and Newsmax stock declined modestly on news, a sign of the market adjusting to the new venture.

•  The company will continue to add device and content compatibility in the future in response to user feedback during the ongoing beta period.
