Suzlon Energy Ltd has won a repeat order of 201.6 MW from Oyster Renewable for a wind energy project in Madhya Pradesh. This marks the second order from Oyster within nine months, bringing their total partnership to 283.5 MW in the state.
The project involves supplying 64 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a 3.15 MW capacity. This order pushes Suzlon's order book to a record high of 5.7 GW, with 59% coming from commercial and industrial consumers.
Girish Tanti, Suzlon's Vice Chairman, highlighted the growing trust in their end-to-end renewable energy solutions. JP Chalasani, CEO, noted this as their fifth repeat order this year, underscoring customer satisfaction.
This development reinforces Suzlon's leadership in India's wind energy sector and contributes to the country's clean energy transition, aligning with India's goal of 500 GW renewable capacity by 2030.
