Chennai-based deep-tech company Tan90 Thermal Solutions has raised ₹20 crore in a NABVENTURES-led Series A round with the contribution of Blue Ashva Capital, Capital-A, and 3i Partners. The funds will ramp up Tan90's expansion to 10 more Indian cities—especially Tier-II hubs—and help it expand into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Tan90, which deals in its own Phase Change Materials (PCMs) with double the turnaround time and lifespan of conventional cooling technology, will use the funds to launch new product lines into cold chains, HVAC systems, and data centers. Tan90's Cooling-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform currently operates in eight Indian cities across sectors like quick commerce, food logistics, and healthcare.
As cooling contributes to nearly 10% of the globe's CO₂ emissions, Tan90's affordable and power-efficient solutions have the potential to transform India and global climate-resilient infrastructure. As co-founder Soumalya Mukherjee envisioned, the goal is to make India a global center for thermal management innovation.
