Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed a five-year strategic agreement with Air New Zealand to update its digital infrastructure and advance passenger experience. The collaboration is expected to rationalize airline operations, accelerate adoption of AI, and enhance efficiency in various business functions, such as fleet management, crew scheduling, and ground services.
Key elements of the alliance include infusing AI across Air New Zealand's digital offerings, implementing AI-powered automation and cloud solutions to more than 600 applications, and driving large-scale upskilling in cybersecurity and AI. The alliance will further improve retail capabilities in the digital space and loyalty platforms, providing a more customized travel experience. The agreement was signed in the presence of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and TCS CEO K. Krithivasan.
