The Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police has issued a winter advisory reducing speed limits on the Noida–Greater Noida and Yamuna expressways to prevent accidents during dense fog. Effective from December 15, 2025, to February 15, 2026, the revised limits aim to enhance commuter safety amid low visibility conditions.

The advisory caps maximum speed at 75 kmph for light motor vehicles and 60 kmph for heavy vehicles on the Yamuna Expressway. On the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, the limit is 75 kmph for light vehicles and 50 kmph for heavy vehicles. For the Noida Elevated Road, the permissible speed is 50 kmph for light vehicles and 40 kmph for heavy vehicles. Officials emphasized that the seasonal restrictions are necessary to reduce accident risks during foggy mornings and evenings. The revised limits will also be reflected on Google Maps for better compliance.
