Traffic and Parking Plans Finalized for Major Events in Bhopal

Authorities in Bhopal have announced extensive traffic management and parking arrangements ahead of the Women Empowerment Convention at Jamboree Maidan, which will also see the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The plan includes designated routes for buses, private vehicles, and VIP attendees to ensure smooth movement and minimize congestion.

Key Traffic Diversions and Routes
- Buses arriving from Indore, Khandwa, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, and Agar will use Khajuri Road, Bakaniyan Depot, Mubarakpur, Lambakheda, Chowpadakala, Patel Nagar Bypass, and Anand Nagar to reach Jamboree Maidan.
- Vehicles from Rajgarh, Guna, and Ashok Nagar will follow Mubarakpur junction, Lambakheda junction, Chowpadakala junction, Patel Nagar bypass, and Anand Nagar before reaching the venue.
- Those traveling from Sagar, Raisen, and Vidisha will park at Jamboree Maidan using Patel Nagar crossing and Anand Nagar cut point.

Parking Arrangements for Different Categories
- Vehicles from Nagdipuram, Harda, and Betul will be directed through Misrod Road, RRL Tiraha, AIIMS, and Badkheda Pathani, with parking behind St. Xavier's School.
- Buses from Jabalpur and Narsinghpur will turn left at 11 Mile, pass through Khajuri Kala Jod, and park at Jamboree Maidan.
- Buses from Bilkisganj in Sehore will enter Jamboree Ground via Ratiwad, Nilbad, Bharat Mata Square, Jawahar Chowk, Atal Path, Apex Bank, Link Road-1, Board Office, Govindpura Turning, and Mahatma Gandhi Square.

VIP and General Public Parking
- General public arriving in cars and two-wheelers from Govindpura turning toward Mahatma Gandhi Square will park behind St. Xavier's School.
- Vehicles with VIP passes will access the venue via Govindpura turning, Mahatma Gandhi Square, Ayyappa Temple, and Gas Godown, with designated parking in front of St. Xavier's School.
