The Trump administration is considering imposing travel restrictions on citizens from over 40 countries, according to media reports. The proposed ban includes three categories: a "red list" of 11 countries whose citizens would be barred from entering the U.S., including Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, and Bhutan. An "orange list" includes countries like Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, and South Sudan, where travel would be restricted but not completely banned. A "yellow list" of 22 countries would have 60 days to address security deficiencies before facing restrictions.
