Renowned cricket commentator and author Dwarkanath 'Pappu' Sanzgiri passed away on February 6, 2025, at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital after a prolonged illness. The respected journalist, known for his vibrant cricket commentary and analytical writing, had authored 40 books spanning sports, travel, and social issues. In a career spanning nearly five decades, Sanzgiri made significant contributions to Marathi sports journalism and covered every ODI World Cup since 1983.
