Lifestyle brand WiseLife, which sells wellness and yoga products, has raised Rs 8 crore of pre-Series A funding from Rukam Capital, marking a milestone in the path from boutique startup to national wellness behemoth. The brand, which was a sensation at Shark Tank India Season 3, will use the funds to scale up, penetrate deeper into distribution, and expand its sustainable product offering.

Key funding issues:

Rukam Capital led the funding, with WiseLife having previously raised funds from Shark Tank investors Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Ritesh Aggarwal, and Namita Thapar.

Capital will be deployed to enhance supply chain efficiency, propel product innovation, and bring in new SKUs in the home fitness and yoga category.

WiseLife will invest in community engagement and content creation to establish a loyal wellness community.

Brand vision and market context:

Established by Prateek Kedia in 2022, WiseLife offers biodegradable exercise equipment, yoga mats, and lifestyle accessories that balance design, sustainability, and affordability.

The company takes the position of India's one-stop-shop for good-quality but affordable wellness products with a strong emphasis on sustainability.

India's yoga mats market is expected to grow from USD 1.4 billion in 2024 to USD 2.2 billion in 2033, which is rich soil for the growth of WiseLife.

Through this investment, WiseLife is ready to transform from a Shark Tank success to a category-leading wellness brand, riding India's growing base of health-conscious consumers.
