Against the backdrop of a glittering ceremony at JW Marriott Hotel, Kolkata, Jyoti Mahipal was formally inducted as the 50th Association President of Inner Wheel Clubs in India, a milestone for one of the largest voluntary women's organizations in the world. The ceremony, "The Aurum Affaire – a legacy etched in Gold," was not just a celebration of the leadership transition but also Inner Wheel's vision and legacy in India.

Historic Installation: Jyoti Mahipal, former Vice President, took office as the 50th Association President, after a string of dynamic women presidents.
Star-Studded Function: The event was graced by guest of honor Padma Bhushan awardee and acclaimed classical dancer Dr. Mallika Sarabhai, who delivered an inspiring keynote address, and ISRO scientist Ritu Karidhal Srivastava, the "Rocket Woman of India," who spoke about her experience and story of successful women in science.
Empowering Vision: Inner Wheel India, led by Mahipal, will strive to empower women from all walks of life, improve education among youth, improve the quality of education, improve access to health and awareness, and save the environment—specifically through e-waste reduction practices.
Mission and Motto: Following its motto of "Friendship and Service," the mission of the association is to foster international friendship and assist in important social activities, leaving behind a lasting legacy to be remembered for generations.
Vast Network: The Inner Wheel Association in India now comprises 27 districts, more than 1,700 clubs, and over 60,000 members, making it a formidable force in social service and women’s empowerment.
Core Focus Areas: The core areas of work of the organization are women's welfare, environmental conservation, and education, and the work is adapted to the needs and resources of every chapter. The induction of Jyoti Mahipal is a new vow to serve, to befriend, and to improve society—setting the stage for another golden chapter in the Inner Wheel's illustrious annals.
