Google has officially released its latest mid-range phone, the Pixel 9a, in 32 markets worldwide. It is the biggest rollout of any Pixel A-series phone yet. The phone, which comes at ₹49,999 in India, is driven by Google's Tensor G4 home-grown processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage space. It also has a 5,100mAh battery, a dual 48MP + 13MP camera at the rear, and Android 15 out of the box.
The wider availability is carried out in countries such as Austria, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, and the United Kingdom. The phone may not be available in Google's official online store in all countries, and the customers may have to rely on local carriers and retailers. The release in early March is aligned with the quicker release of the Pixel 9 series, reflecting Google's attempt to bring its phones into wider availability channels for more consumers.
In India, the 256GB variant is priced at ₹49,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting in April. Customers can also benefit from a limited-period ₹3,000 cashback and 24-month no-cost EMI options through select banking partners.
